Teresa Phan brings forth a wealth of experience in performing Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments that promote optimal health and spiritual, emotional, mental and physical balance.
A Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2002 having graduated from the acclaimed College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver
Teresa Phan has also traveled to China to further her studies and is in the first group of practitioners to successfully pass the Pan-Canada board examination in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. From Tui Na Therapeutic Massage to Gua Sha, Cupping Therapy, Moxibustion and Herbal Medicine, Teresa Phan has mastered an extensive list of holistic treatments, and provides healing services to her clients for many common ailments using these ancient renowned modalities.
Education and Experience
Teresa graduated from the acclaimed International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver as a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr. TCM) in 2002. After receiving her Doctorate degree, she went to China to further her studies. In China, she studied at Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Teresa is fully certified in Canada and the USA. In Ontario, when the ministry of health regulated Chinese medicine and acupuncture, instead of being grand-parented into the profession, she is the first group of practitioners to successfully pass the Pan-Canada board examination in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
She is registered and is licensed to practice herbal medicine and acupuncture in the United States. She is also registered with the California acupuncture board and registered with The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) to practice in other states. She holds a diploma in oriental medicine (Dipl. OM) from the NCCAOM. She is a member of Acupuncturists Without Borders (which provides immediate disaster relief and recovery to communities that are in crisis resulting from disaster or human conflict).
